NSD had their Stick Shift shoot out night... only 4 cars showed up for it and i got paired with a Turbocharged GTO (I think that's what he said it was). I saw his runs before hand and knew I had it covered. The engine was cooled way down (138 in the pit lanes waiting to start up and make a run). We lined up I got a good launch (1.87) and had around a tenth on him in reaction time. Then the shift to 2nd, it refused to engage, it felt like was hitting a wall. I had to let up on the shifter and try again to get 2nd. By then he had caught up some and finally drove around at the top of the track.
DA was 2400 ft.
