When you have a Car that is slower then other cars you race the tree ..


bracket racing, there can be a car that runs 7's and you run 11's
you will leave first ........then he will go 4 seconds later .. this makes you and the other driver finish at the end of the track at the same time, making for a great race .. your time on the tree (Reaction) is a bonus! It will not count for ET but getting out of the hole first can make or break ya ..
