I've seen that done hundreds of times using the clear rods from window blinds. It works as you can tell, but is a little ghetto.

yeah it does look a little getto, but that was done in 2003
I just wonder if you went with more modern materials, and newer LED's what the result might be.

We have two saltwater aquariums, and that is the other money hole we have. Corals are a pain to keep and dont get me started on sea horses

Fortunately I barter web services for most of my aquarium gear. I contacted a dude that does ghost flames on bikes locally. His site was terrible. Maybe he will trade a site for some paint.

I will let you know if I tinker and what the results would be. There are other applications. Like a couple of these in the bottom of cup holders maybe?
