I started to take off my front bumper this weekend. Without getting into the long, long story of why I didn't complete the project, my question is this:

I don't have the slightest idea how I'm going to get the little plastic rivets that hold on the underside of the fenderwell (the black plastic above the tire), back in. They are expanded out, and I can't see how it would be possible to squish them back to fit inside the hole. If I get new ones, are they easier to put back in? I can post pics tonight of what I'm talking about if it's not clear. Thanks...

you will have to get some new ones no biggy.
just goto autozone, pepboys or your fav parts store.

get 1/4 push pull pins. shorter the better

I used sheet metal screws and metal nuts...
Cant remember what the technical term is for the nuts, I call them "J" nuts or speaker nuts.
It has come in pretty handy when I have to take it back apart.

I got mine at autozone before the show. They had several that worked but like Eric said the shorter the better. The shorter seem to snap in better 1/4 inch diameter.

Get them at Autozone ... get the "Christmas Tree" shaped ones ... they will be reusable in the future and they are cheaper ... don't go to the dealer, they want too much for them ...
