The metal filter on my D1SC ProCharger was rubbing up against the steel brake-line and finally wore an opening in it. Driving without line pressure was tricky, but I hope to have it all fixed plus new rotors and pads by tomorrow.

I haven't been able to buy front bias-ply skinnies because the brake job is using up my money, so I'm thinking of running down 1/4 at Ennis Saturday to see how it feels with the Nitto radials on the front. At least the brakes will be reliable.

If the car gets wonky on the big end, then I'll just spectate and provide moral support.

Yeah, when the red "BRAKE" light came on solid, I decided to stop driving it.

Now that you have new brakes you can go to the road course. :Racing:

Rob's car + road course = instructor suicide on road course

Can you imagine the instructor on that ride......

"Ok now I want you to accelerate into the turn and let the car do the work.......OHHHHHHHHHHH FUUUUUUU*****KKKKKKKKK.......BRAKES BRAKES BRAKES"

Yes, it would take some practice to find the accelerator sweet spot on the turns.

Just week before last I came out of one of those frontage road U-turn things kind of sideways. It was fun, but seemed to make other drivers a little leery.
