I've been looking on ebay for a cold air intake system & I notice prices b/t $70-$400 bucks. Whats the difference & what do u guys think I should get for my SE Magnum 06? I really dont want to spend alot of $$$ either, the cheapest but the best if possible. How much do u save in gas??? Thanks guys, ur advise is appreciate!!! :thk:

Ever since I added my AFE CAI and Diablo tuner I seem to waste more gas:4-dontknow: and they suppose to improve Mpg.
I don't know for sure if there is a major difference between K&n,Afe or Mopar the reason why I went with AFE was b/c it itself was like $250 got my preditor and cai for $545 shipped, the tuner alone was almost 400 so I tought it was a good deal.

I just ordered my Mopar CAI Monday and it won't be back to go pickup until Friday so I can't comment just yet. It was also my understanding that it is suppose to help out on mpg and add hp when added along with an exhaust system and tuner. That's about all I know, hell I could have cared less about performance until I joined this club and now my eyes has been opened to a entirely new side of modding. I'm learning on the go.

my K&N made the biggest difference in sound more than anything. I have Flowmasters and after installing this intake, the exhaust was deeper and WAY louder during WOT. as far as MPG's, I honestly gained about 2 - 2-1/2 miles to the gallon gettin' me at around 17.5mpg city. Highway mileage has me at about 29 at the most (that was driving down I-20 / I-10 goin' to and from Tucson, Arizona.
but, I don't see the 17.5 too often as my foot is usually heavy on the gas pedal. :D
so, according to the EVIC, I'm sittin' at 15.4 most of the time

We are in the same boat, hopefully mine will be here at the same time.
Are you doing yours yourself? Maybe we should hook up and do a CAI mini party.

I'm not installing mine right now. I'm waiting to get it custom painted along with my engine cover and some other engine dress up items I have in the works. I'm trying to be patient get it all painted at the same time so that I won't have to keep going back and forth the the my paint guy. I'll install everything at that time. Might be a month or two before I actually get to test it out on the car. I want to be able to pop my hood with pride like everyone else at the shows, until then the hood stays down. I have all my items at home patiently waiting.... :popc1:
