It was a lot of fun although the "waiting to go" part got old as people kept spewing parts on the track...lol ... at least all of our guys were in one piece at the end (well, except for Nathan ... I saw him in the parking lot looking very concerned but it turns out the problem was simple, he ran so hard his oil catch can fell off...)

I definitely see now why we need to do the "fan mod" though ... my engine temps were around 212 -215 on every run ... my best was a 14.621 @ 95.7 mph but the 1/8th mile time on that run was 9.462 which is a full half second slower than I normally run at Kennedale (I've got the time slips to prove it, but I can usually get to the line and go over there while I'm at 195 degrees, my worst time ever at Kennedale was 9.31 and that was before I got the AFE CAI) ... I was really hoping to be closer to 14.2 or better in the 1/4 mile but I think the heat got me, the car launched great every time ...

For you Flashpaq owners, I experimented with the settings and "Paddle Kick with raised shift points and reduced Torque Management" did produce the best results ... I tried using stock shift points and Stock trans setting on the first run and did a 14.702 so that change was worth almost 1/10th right there ... maybe I should have pulled fuse 11 before running too, I usually do that but I forgot to bring my fuse puller ...

We had a great time. My wife videoed all of the LX runs up until we left. I have put them down to DVD but haven't put them down to PC yet to post. The video isn't the best quality but I will post none the less. It wound up be about 25 minutes of recording. My fastest time last trip was 14.2. This time with the addition of a CAI and Diablo I ran a 13.3 and 105mph.

Thanks man. After you get some more practice and learn how to control that beast I won't be able to keep up. The whole night was a blast. Can't wait till the mopar day in may. Did you get any video's?

Sorry guys she only got videos of my runs. She did take still pics of everyone who was there while we were there. If we get a bigger memory card for our camera next time we will get more video. Also any vids taken with our camera are not giong to be good quality because it is not an actual video camera.

GAAAAHHH!!! Still no videos!!! If anybody that has vids can just throw them on a DVD and bring them to the park in Arlington this Saturday I'll be glad to do the editing ... I can isolate each run separately (and I can make animated gifs of them so you can have it as a Signature here or on LX Forums that will run as a continuous loop) ... and also host the whole shebang on my PhotoBucketPro account ... I really wanted to see a vid of my car running ... I have so many friends from way out of town that want to see a clip of it ...

I do have them copied down to DVD but can't figure out how to convert them from analog to digital to post them to utube. I will be glad to bring the DVD if someone else knows how to get them up to utube.

I have Pinnacle Studios video suite and the full Nero suite if you want to bring me a copy I'll be happy to do some editing as well. I can also convert clips into animated gifs for use as Sigs or avatars or whatnot.
