How difficult is the install? Is this something I you can do on a weekend or not recommended?

Check the Z brother. There is a complete write up with pics. If you have someone helping you and start early enough, I would almost think you could do it in about a day and a half.

Rotors and pads should be a few hour job.
its simple if you have a basic knowledge of cars.
Since you wont be cracking any brakes lines its a simple job.
Camo is right, there are write-ups on most of the various LX platform forums.

Camo, I did see that thread on LX, but he didn't change out his rotors so I wasn't sure if that was applicable to what i'm doing. Guess it's just an extra step though....we'll see.

I'll see your two hours and raise ya to 1:30 for all 4!!
J/K Mecha!!!
But you are right, it is a simple job that should not - for any reason - take a whole weekend.

I did my rotors and pads a few months ago and its easy like the guys said. Bring all your stuff to my house and I'll help ya for a 12 pack of Murphy's Red. :smiley_thumbs_up: I got a floor jack, stands, crowbar, and air tools.
