2nd Annual 98.7 KLUV Classic Car Show.

free t-shirt and dash plaque to all pre-registered participants.

Your entry form must be post marked no later than Nov. 1st 2008.

$2500.00 worth of door prizes!
Classes are as follows: Pre-50s car, 50s car, 60s car, 70s car, 80s car, 90s car, 2000s car, Street Rod, T-Bucket/Roadster,Muscle Car, Mustang 79 & Older, Mustang 80's & Newer, Corvette 1953-1982, Corvette 1984 & Newer, Import Car, Custom Car, Sports Compact car, Convertible, Open Car. Pre-60s Truck, 60s Truck, 70 & 80s, Truck, 90s Truck, 2000s Truck, and Open Truck. Motorcycle classes and Rat Rod, Under Construction.

Show is located at Cowboys Red River 10310 Technology Blvd W. Dallas, TX 75220 and show time is noon-6pm.

Registration 12-1:30.

Im out guys. Seems like this saturday theres a ton of crap to do. i have to work then go to the company ralley where they also announce our bonus and recognition. and then i have a get together that night.. alot of stuff. plus.... have a special surprise and might not even have my car...

KLUV's website says the event gates open at Noon.
Registration from Noon till 2:00 pm.
Judging from 2:00 to 3:00 pm.
Awards announced at 5:00 pm.
6:00 pm event Ends.

12:30 should be good. Gives everyone time to meet up and drive together. Get to the show right after. Doors open at noon so it will give time to jump in there and get those last minute touches on the car. What do you guys think??

I thought u werent gonna make it out. are u bringing ur Honda? I know there is an import spot for ya. LOL so do u know who is all going???? :smiley_thumbs_up:

mannn, I just read Fred's message. I went to meet at Pappadeaux at 12:30 waited til 1:00 & no one shows up. I cruise over to the show to see if anyone was there, didnt see anyone so I rolled back to the spot. Waited another 5 minutes than rolled off. Going home on hwy 121 south & I hit this big ass pot hole that I didnt see bc this idiot cuts me off. Man I just hope it doesnt bend my rims bc it was a loud thump! Am so pissed off right now that am gonna miss "video day", hope my tire doesnt get a flat, & now am gonna miss the show. This really sucks man!

I really dont know bc I thought that we were gonna meet at the restaurant than roll over there but since no one showed at the spot I roll over there to look & there were alot of cars over there but none of ours. so I rolled back to the spot & text Pedro, didnt hear nothing back so I took off home. Only thing kool while rolling home was this BMW crue started camcording me while I was rolling which was pretty kool! Until I hit that pot hole & I was like shiet I better roll home before it gets flat on me. Well I check the tires & they looked fine. But can u see a bump on 25 series tires? I really dont know what to look for either.

should be good as long as they aren't flat. just keep checking your tire pressure every day, and then every week, then back to AT LEAST once a month or however often you check it.

we did meet at the spot and then rolled over to the show. we had 20 spots reserved and we were all parked near the registration entrance. We got Best Club Award and Dallas Beast won 1st Place Award 2000s Class!

I actually got there early and went on over to reserve spots, because I knew we hadn't done so yet. I didn't even get online this morning to see that everyone was meeting at Pappadeaux, sorry guys. And Alex, sorry to hear about the pothole man, hope your baby's okay!!!! Congratulations everyone for another good turnout and another best club award!!!!! And a big congrats to you Dean!!!!

Frankly I don't ever recall going to an event and not finding anyone from the club being where they say they will be. I usually post my intentions (as I did this time) for each event that I'm attending. The intent of my post this weekend was to let you all know that the club was there and I was heading out. I did not intend on meeting a pappaduex because I was running late. I apologize if anyone was misdirected by or misunderstood my post .... bottom line is if we say were going to be there we will be there, If you don't make it on time or don't hook up with the group please just proceed to the event and ask for DFWLX. We always let the attendants know where our group is located and do not want to have anybody feel left out. I'm sure anyone of the Staff would be happy to provide numbers for members to call in event you are trying to locate us. PM me and I will give you several ways to contact me ...
