Yes I did recommend the AFE II for you. And it is a great CAI. In fact it`s the best for the money. At least that`s my opinion at the moment. But I "won" the ARIA. How can I turn down a free CAI and accessories valued at nearly 400 dollars? LOL....I can`t!

In testing it only improved 2 HP over the AFE, if I remember correctly. But it`s stainless and polished and is going to look soooo good under my hood.

If you want the extra 2 HP and are willing to spend the extra for the ARIA (for all intensive purposes it`s identical to the Airhammer) then I would say go for it. It definitely looks better than the AFE.

On second thought, I`ll take my recommendation back. I say get the ARIA because you are going to be showing your car. Every little bit helps and the ARIA is way better looking than the plastic AFE.

I don`t know yet. I`m considering trying to reuse the box for the filter end but Lance at Airflow (the owner of the company that makes the aria) swears having the filter end in the box actually causes HP loss because it disrupts the flow.

I`m going to try it his way first and if it`s okay I`ll put the AFE up on the block.

Not sure yet. First thing is to clean it up and recharge it I suppose. Probably will sell it.

I was excited to show yall my new Chally, and I'm not sure what happenned... but all of a sudden my right leg magically lifted off the ground and landed right smack dab in my mouth... for some odd reason... :sla:
