Ok, My second post, but this may a lengthy post so please bear with me guys.

FIRST: AS IN MY FIRST POST, I purchased the Eibach Pro-kit ( 1.5 inch drop all around) But the recurring theme I hear mostly from Alignment shops is that that drop with a 20 inch rim will likely result in the fender hitting the tire sidewall if I hit a big bump (primarily on the fronts).

Has ANYBODY WITH 20'S had this problem with their drops or is this just fear mongering?

SECOND: Since there is no CAMBER adjustment on the Charger, has this drop created tire wear issues for mny of you or is that also fear mongering? HAve you had problems with a car full of people? I don't have the solvency to buy a camber kit...too high.

THREE: How do the struts figure into this picture? I NEED TO FIRM UP THE RIDE, Cause mine really wallows a lot over big dips. will the springs help that or should I just replace the struts to get that result?

I know this is a lot to digest, but the springs are on the way and if I need to replace the struts then this would be the time to get it done...IF IT'S NEEDED.

I was going to have the drop and alignment done before showing up at the Motorplex on the 10th, but now I am not sure if the drop is the right move should the fender issue be a real concern here. PLEASE HELP!!

I'll take a shot here, but I would recommend a second opinion before making the final decision (Jeff, you there?????).

The drop will slightly affect the alignment. Probably not enough to change the wear pattern on the tires.
The springs will firm up the ride a fair amount. Shortened springs will have less room for travel so the ride gets more firm as a result.

Cant speak to whether or not the fenders need to be rolled. With 20's I kinda doubt it unless you are going with a tall sidewall, but that is just a guess.

Remember when dealing with struts that they are basically just a glorified shock. (There is way more to it, but I am referring to damping action.) As far as needing to replace them to match the springs, it will change where the damper rides within the shock (strut) tube which should also create a firmer ride, but should not change anything otherwise.

The rear is a B**ch to change out, I have some negitive camber with the KW V2's Im not sure what you will get with just springs, They sell a camber kit for 90 bucks I think to correct this, I posted already somewhere that I doubt you will need to roll your fenders with just 20's

Let us know if we can help

Thank you for the reassurance. I was getting a little nervous about the drop and the rub. From what you guys are saying, a 255 45 20 should be just fine n this drop AND I am going to put new Monroe Sensa-trac struts /shocks on too. That should give me enough cushion to keep the rub form visiting my car. The only REAL question I have is where can that camber kit be bought THAT cheap? A website would be cool brother. Also. As far as the the backs, thankfully like Camo, I am not doing this myself a friend who is way more skilled then me is...Whew!
