I'm wondering if anyone if the DFW has a ProCharger on their LX car. I have one on order for my CSRT8 and would be interested in anyones experience with the ProCharger.
Thanks,
Rob
;Update;
I see my posting says I am a 300 owner. Sorry about the confusion. I am a Charger SRT8 owner.

Hmmm, then based on your sig, you might be interested since I have black SRT8 with Kooks, Diablo, K&N, and Zoomers plus some porting work. When the hardware arrives, the install will be done at Keith Craft Motorsports in Plano. The tuning will likely be the longest phase.

you were able to order one?
From where? How much? Does it come with a tune? Can I see it when you are done?

Keith Craft is a Procharger vendor, they ordered it from Procharger. It is listed as "available" on the Procharger web site. This is the tuner kit, so it does not come with a tune. Some time in the future they will release a complete kit with tune I assume. For now I have a guy lined up to do dyno tuning with the help of Diablo, who also helped Procharger with their beta installs. I'm fine doing it this way because my engine isn't stock anyway so a "standard" tune from Procharger probably wouldn't be optimum.
Yes, you can see it when it is done.

I'm sorry, I just noticed my profile said I am a 300 owner, but I am a Charger SRT8 owner. I hope I didn't get your hopes up for nothing.
And while I seem to be able to edit my posts, I cannot edit the profile information tied to my post.

A tuner kit does not mean the tune is the only thing missing. You will also need to upgrade the fuel system and I believe a new balancer needs to be purchased.
Like LQQKOUT said, the recommended fuel system components are SRT-4 injectors (8) SRT-4 map sensor, tuner with custom tuning and the balancer.
I edited this post, I was incorrect about the balancer in my first post.

Yes, I know about the SRT-4 parts. The shop didn't mention a balancer. I will have to ask them about it. Pro-Charger seems to be taking their time getting around to building and shipping my order. There will be plenty of time to get all the other parts needed.
I just noticed TSS might be Mike Wilson, the guy that already has my factory tune and will do the dyno tune for the pro-charger.
Mike if thats you, I miss my predator.

Sorry to say, I didn't make the M&G, but I did look at the pics. I guess I missed the fun. I hope to make one closer sometime in the near future.

I assume there is some danger in blowing up my engine. That would however give me an excuse to build a better one. Maybe a blown 426 Stroker? :)

About you driving my car? I would have to say its not out of the question. But I generally wouldn't make a commitment like that to someone I haven't met. So we would need to meet first and go from there.
I am very careful and conservative on my tuning. I would rather it be reliable and safe than fast and dangerous. Safetey and drivability are my first areas of interest, then comps the horsepower and torque.

Sounds good to me Mike.
