Big brake kits

Does anyone have the hook up on Big Brake kits? I need some for my 24's but dont want to pay $5000 for it all around. I will buy used ones too for the right price & in good condition.

man, don't go spendin' all that dough. $40 will get you an awesome G2 Brake Caliper kit with everything you need to get 'em all painted up. I'm about to order my kit.

Big brake kits cost big money, have you tried just upgrading to slotted and drilled oem size rotors?

Duplicolor makes a kit for like $14 you can pick it up at the local autoparts store...Either spray it or brush it, both kits work great.

I was also ordering the Mopar decals in Chrome. Does the G2 Kit offer a nice bright, smooth, gloss finish like the Brembo calipers? That's the quality finish I'm looking for.

If you want smooth then you might just want to pay to get it done.... Unless you dont mind sanding. Im a big DIY type of guy so I wouldnt drop 250 to get that done.

yeah, the gloss is as glossy as it gets, man. and it's roll-on, too, so all you gotta do is mask off everything and start painting. I've heard the spray-on kind will more-than-likely chip off under the high-heat.

I used the spray on silver on my expedition and the caliper paint is still in tact.....no chips or flaking off.... just brake dust....lol I plan on buying the duplicolor brush / roll kit and doing it gloss black.

I'm not much of the DIY guy, so I don't know if the G2 kit is the way for me to go. I don't want it to look like a bad experiment project that went bad. I want the Brembo look without the Brembo cost. I just might go ahead and drop the $250 and let JR's do it. Thanks for the info guys! How soon are you planning on painting yours GONZOsMAGNUM? I might hold off and see how yours turn out and wait to decide. Keep me posted when you paint them.

i have used 2 kits on my car

just remember brembros are powder coated not painted.

no paint till last like powdercoating.
