yeah I dont know about Autos in the Park this year. The temp is forcast to be 100+ degrees on Saturday :FIREdevil: and that is a daytime show. We have done the last two years, but their voting classes dont leave much room for modern American muscle.

As far as the Grapevine show, that sounds promising since it starts at 5 :).

I did it last month and it was really small. A far cry from when I used to go.....pre-2005. There were usually around 100 cars. And it was an afternoon show then. I should be there.

car is back together and everything works (ever notice how a simple 3 hour job can become a 15 hour job??), but now Ziggy is sick and has to be watched 24 hours a day for the next 2-3 days....

Tracy will be home but depending on how he is acting I cant just leave for a car show knowing he is sick.

we dont know.

this morning he was fine... around 9 he started getting hives on his back... by noon his back was covered so we took him to the vet.

Vet gave him epi and a steroid shot... after that he really started acting weird....
he got real antsy and started acting like he "hurt".... dunno a better way to describe it. He wouldnt lay still for more than a few seconds and if you touched him he would yelp.

I sent him and Tracy home at about 2 so he would be more comfortable and he slept for 4 hours solid.
We will see how he does and go from there.... I am a real worry-wart about my puppies (Tracy laughs at me and says she is glad we dont have kids).

Glad to hear Ziggy is doing better. Same kinda thing happened to my dog a couple years back. We are pretty sure she got stung by a bee, she loves to chase them. Her head was covered in lumps and she wouldn't come out from underneath the bed. It took her a couple of days along with some meds and she was back to chasing bees.

Now back to the thread subject...

Don't think the weather is going to cooperate for us to get the car washed. Plus it is so humid I think it would be impossible to dry it. So we won't be able to make it out to the show. Plus weather says by 5pm there is a 60% of rain.
