Awesome video. So, after watching those two videos, I notice there seems to be 2 orange cones at every turn. They seem to be there to provide a visual cue for entry and exit points of each turn. Is that almost right? Does that help you select the appropriate apex to negotiate each turn?

There are actually 3 cones in most corners. Entrance, apex and exit.

There are also cones in some of the corners to give you visual cues for braking as well.

I am looking forward to doing some road course stuff after the summer heat goes away
