So I went to the track tonight even with a wounded clutch... and 33xx feet DA. Long story short on the clutch, several weeks ago I burned the clutch pretty good while trying to do a burn out at the track. The clutch got better after a few days but it has felt softer since then. I decided to go with street tires to avoid hammering the clutch too much.
I cooled the car down to an ECT of 160 or so before I tech'ed in and made a run (@ 17x) and popped off a 2.03 60' and ran 8.75 @ 82.42 mph.
2nd run 2.04, 8.70 @ 83.09 mph, ECT a little lower.
3rd run 1.98, 8.63 @ 83.03 mph, ECT 160 or so at launch.
The wind tonight really helped cooling the car down, even though the temp was 89-92 while at the track. Also the clutch smelled burned after each run.
