So i got the crazy idea in my head that i want to try and get all of my interior black aside from the Yellow highlights. Problem is i dont know how or wear to start. Any suggestions as far as paint goes for the bottom gray pannel? Any idea of how i could go about working on the top of the car, its all fabric, is it possible to avoid having to pay to have it done?

cool was not aware that they super bee's door was all black. How easy is it to take off the lower panneling under the steering wheel and the glove box? Any ideas of what paint i should use?

SEM Paints are considered to be the best(BIG $$$$, $13-$15 a can)....I have seen people use this product before, good stuff. I have personally used Krylon Fusion paints and I was very pleased with the outcome....I used Satin Black in my Expedition on all the lower panels and have all the Pillars and other trim Gloss black (Automotive paint and clear).

Prep work will be key in this project, clean, clean and clean your interior plastics....
I would recommend dish washing detergent and a scotch pad. To remove any grease or Armor All type products you might have used.
If you plan on using Automotive spray paints get some bulldog adhesive promoter to allow the paint youll spray on to stay on. Its the best for plastic, not all paints stick very well to plastic.
*******TAKE YOUR TIME******* do not rush this project, It took me a whole week to take apart my ride, prep then paint allow time to dry fully then install....
If this is your daily driver you might want to rethink this project for the weekends only....
I pulled it off due to my wife left out of town and had access to her 300 while I did this to my ride.
FYI....you probably know this but any type of Armor All shine is an enemy to your newly painted plastics....Use soap and water to clean them when dusty or dirty....
Good Luck :woohoo: cant wait to see the end result....

yeah, I like to do everything myself, even if it's never been done before. I like a challenge, plus the gratification is way better!
if you wanna help me out, you can get me some SRT seats up front! :D

If I could I would.... Why not just upgrade the leather to a custom 2 tone like the SRT's might be cheaper....You can always install yourself.

Yes SEM is very good and more specifically you want to search for vinyl dye which is used for plastics. Done right you will never know it was sprayed.

There has to be a way to take them off but if they become a pain just mask around (dont allow overspray onto your exterior paint or interior) and paint.....
